To check your order pipeline for fulfillment latency, build a query that returns a list of orders that have not shipped but have aged at least five days since conversion. This query can help warehouse managers prioritize orders that need immediate attention, and possibly identify factors contributing to the delay.
This task uses Query Builder, a platform feature that lets you to build custom no-code queries to surface information not readily available in the dashboards. See Get started with Query Builder.
- From the Retail Dashboards, select Query Builder in the left navigation panel
- From the Query Type menu, select Order
- Next, specify all orders for a recent period using the settings below. By focusing on a recent period, you'll avoid common data inaccuracy issues that typically accompany older data (in this case, inaccurate fulfillment statuses). For Value, specify the date from which you want to start tracking latent orders.
- Select the AND operator
- Create a second statement to return orders that remained undelivered a week after conversion, as shown:
- Select + Field to add a second field, and then select the settings shown:
- Save and run the query. Remain on the page until the run completes.
Your saved query will appear on the left.
Queries are stored with your user instance. Only you can see and use your queries.
