Summary
The sc_marketing_campaign_performance focuses on tracking the effectiveness of a given digital marketing campaign down to the ad level. A given campaign may contain multiple ads, and tracking how effective a given ad is early on can be used to determine whether to redirect funds to the better-performing variants.

Supported Use Cases
The following use cases are examples and only provide a subset of all potential use cases that can be addressed with data found in sc_marketing_campaign_performance and other views. This list should not be assumed to be comprehensive.
- What is the return on ad spend for a given campaign?
- Is a particular ad for a given campaign performing better or worse than other ads in the same campaign?
- Which source or medium is driving better conversion?
When not to use the view
This view contains information about how different campaigns are performing. While it does contain information about specific ads, it does not contain information about which orders were placed due to the ad. Another SoundCommerce view contains that information.
This view does not necessarily contain specifics about the following:
- Fulfillment-related metrics (i.e., shipment partner, tracking number, fulfillment breakdown of constituent items)
- Item-related metrics (i.e., sku-level price, sku-level cost, sku-level discounts)
- Product-related metrics (i.e., warehouse inventory for a given product)
- Customer PII-related values (i.e., first and last names, addresses)
- Customer-related metrics (i.e., customer-aggregated sales, lifetime value, running order counts)
