Configure a One-Click Sync

Overview

Now that Datasets and Segments have been created, it is now possible to stand up a Sync.

This documentation will walk through the steps of configuring a simple, one-click Sync, which is typically used for Ad platforms such as Meta ads.

Process

1. Select the Segment you wish to Sync

2. Navigate to Destinations in the header bar, Toggle On the connected account in the desired Destination, and select Details

3. Sync will begin to process, option to cancel if needed for any reason.

   To note: Standard fields being sent to the destination include (as fields are applicable):

   • email

   • cuid

   • phone number

   • first name

   • last name

   • country code

   • state

   • city

   • zip

   • Birthday Day

   • Birthday Month

   • Birthday Year

   • Gender

4. Upon completion, a Sync results summary will be shown indicating how many matches/row counts have been sent to the Destination

5. To set up a recurring Sync sequence, scroll down to Sync Trigger and select the Edit button

6. Define the desired cadence and Update.

   Ensure your Segment order_date filter parameters match your sync cadence.

   Select Manual to stop any recurring syncs. (eg: a one-time historical sync)

7. Sync configuration and scheduling is complete
