Log in to your Shopify store, and navigate to Settings in the bottom left corner.
Under the Users and Permissions menu, click Add User.
EnterSoundCommerceand the email address SoundCommerce created for you. This Is typically formatted asclient-[yourclientname]@soundcommerce.com.
Add App Development Permissions to your Shopify account for SoundCommerce under the email address you just added. This allows us to request access to the app settings* necessary to retrieve API keys. Note: Never include administrator permissions in the SoundCommerce user account.
From the settings page, select the Apps and sales channels link.
Select Develop apps at the top of the page
Select Create an app:
Enter the following details:
App details pane: For Private app name, enter “SoundCommerce”
App details pane: For App developer, enter your SoundCommerce email alias. For example, <client-yourclientname>@soundcommerce.com.
Admin API pane: Select the Show inactive Admin API permissions link. For each item that appears under Inactive permissions, toggle the access to Read Access.
When you’re done, select Save
On the Private Apps page, select the SoundCommerce app link to view the API credentials on the Admin API page
When you add the app, ensure each of the API Admin App Settings below are added: read_analytics, read_customers, read_fulfillments, read_inventory, read_locations, read_marketing_events, read_orders, read_price_rules, read_product_listings, read_products, read_reports, read_resource_feedbacks, read_shipping, read_content
