How to add a new user to a team:
To add to an existing team skip to step 5. To create a new Team to assign custom permissions start with Step 1:
- Log into your CommerceTools Merchant Center.
- Click the profile icon and select Manage Organizations & Teams
- Select the Organization and click Add team.
- Enter the name of the Team and click Create.
- If you’re not already in the Manage Organizations & Teams page, you’ll want to get there (follow steps 1 & 2)
- Select the Organization and Team.
- In the Teams screen, click Invite members
- Enter in client-[yourclientname]@soundcommerce.com
- Click Add member
- This will send an sign-up link to the email added.
Team Permissions needed:
- View all: Products
- View all: Product Selections
- View all Categories
- View all: Customers
- View all: Customer groups
- View all: Orders
- View all: Standalone Prices
- View all: Product discounts
- View all: Cart discounts
- View all: Discounts codes
- View all: Quotes
- View all: Product types
- View all: Attribute Groups
How to Enable CommerceTools API Access
To create an API Client, do the following:
- In the Merchant Center main menu, go to Settings > Developer settings
- Click Create New API Client
- In the Name field, enter a name for your API Client. This can be any unique value, but Reactor Data is usually easy to keep track of.
- Select the following scopes:
- View Products
- View Product Selections
- View Categories
- View Customers
- View Customer groups
- View Orders
- View Standalone Prices
- View Product discounts
- View Cart discounts
- View Discounts codes
- View Quotes
- View Product types
- View Attribute Groups
- Click Create API Client.
- Copy client_id, secret, scope, API URL, and Auth URL and place them into the external vault in 1Password.
